ResponsibilitiesCreate test plans and test cases from feature descriptions by Product Management department and discussion with developers.
Build and maintain testing automation, scripting, and regression testing.
Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, report and track defects, verify fixes, and perform follow-up work to resolve issues.
Participate in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hardware test environments.
Required Skills
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Programming experience in modern scripting languages.
Working knowledge of Linux/Unix.
Familiar with virtualization technologies.
Familiar with Web testing tools, like Selenium or others.
Familiar with Web-based technologies including HTML, JavaScript, Java, XML, and Tomcat.
At least three years of QA experience.
Desired Skills
PERL programming language
HPC administration experience
Data center administration
Networking experience
Familiarity with gdb, valgrind, autoconf, make, and other Linux development tools
Linux server administration experience
Experience with open-source community projects
Good grasp of multiplatform portability issues and concerns
Education
Associate's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
