Quality Assurance Engineer:
As part of the Assessment and Information division within the quality
assurance team, which conducts the final end-to-end testing of a product before
it is released to the public, the Quality Assurance Engineer defines and creates
test data for multiple software projects; creates test plans, testing cases and
documenting processes based on project documentation; executes functional
application and regression tests; provides visible metrics indicating test
coverage and defect trends; and collaborates with UX designers, business
analysts, other engineers and product owners to develop continuous product
enhancements and releases.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent foreign degree as determined by a written evaluation, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software
Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering and at least five (5) years of experience performing software development and software testing. Experience must include using JAVA, JSP, ORACLE, HTML, SQL, XML and testing tools of HP Interactive Tools of QTP, LoadRunner, and Quality Center to perform white box and black box testing; project estimations, resource capacity planning, and change and risk management; use HP Quality Center to design and deliver project status reports; and to provide leadership and framework to identify testing needs and to resolve critical issues.
