Quality Assurance Engineer Jawbone

We are cuurently looking for an experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our quickly emerging QA team. This is a relativly new deciplne with our engineering teams, so we seek those to help manage current initiative as well as help create and shape the future of our test platform.

You will be working in a highly collaborative environment, with our world-class engineering team. You work to ensure the highest levels of Quality throughout the Product Lifecycle. Across design, implementation and deployment. In this role, there will be opportunity to be hands on and drive Quality in areas including web, backend systems, integration with Third Party partners, content delivery, and mobile applications for starters.

Responsibilities:
Test various web pages for both content and functionality
Test backend/database features
Assist in managing a process to validate compatibility with various Operating Systems
Assist in managing a process to validate compatibility with various Web Browsers
Assist in managing a process to validate compatibility with various Mobile Operating Systems
Troubleshooting issues while driving to find the root cause
Assist in implementation of white box initiatives including things like automation frameworks, database validation scripts, deployment validation
Work collaboratively with both internal as well as Third Party teams
Report defects and project status to team members


Qualifications:
5+ years in software engineering experience
Must have experience testing backend systems
Must have experience in testing various Web Browsers
Must have experience testing various Operating Systems
Strong familiarity with Bluetooth technology
Strong familiarity with Mobile technology
Strong SQL skills
Experience developing tools for testing purposes

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
