Job Description
This position requires a strong quality engineer with expertise in testing distributed high-volume systems, applications, and services. Qualified candidates will need to programmatically and manually test the product, measure test coverage, develop the automated and unit test suites leveraging quality standards, guidelines, and best practices. Candidates will need to define, implement, and/or execute test plans, test specifications, test suites, test cases, unit, functional and performance testing.
Planning, leading, and/or execution of software development testing efforts
Create test plans, test cases, manage defects and triage
Develop automated and unit tests for front and back ?end services, components, UIs, and devices
Device testing
Work collaboratively with geographically dispersed software development and QA teams
Required Skills
Requires ability to develop, debug, and maintain code in C# and/or JAVA
Requires ability to work in both Windows and UNIX environments
Requires ability to create automated UI tests and back-end unit tests
Requires ability to create complex SQL queries
Knowledge and understanding of Web 2.0, HTML5, Web Services, and mobile technologies
Knowledge and understanding of software development and QA methodologies
Required Experience
BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
3+ years experience as an SDET or engineer/developer with comparable test experience
2 min. coding, scripting, and debugging experience
