Quality Assurance Engineer Optify
Optify is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to own the end-to end quality assurance, test, and growth in automation testing of our game-changing software for digital marketers. You should be passionate about delivering quality products and relentlessly improving usability, performance, and speed of software delivery. We ship code every week! This is a full-time position based in Seattle. There is little or no travel for this job. Optify is an equal opportunity employer.
Own the end-to-end quality of our suite of software products
Design and develop test scenarios that accurately gauge product quality
Perform debugging and root cause analysis of software failures, defects, and customer-reported issues
Provide input on testability for better test coverage
Work with peers in development and product management teams to plan and prioritize the test strategy to ensure high quality and timely delivery
Document reproducible regression tests and work towards automating the most commonly tested portions of the software suite
Identify and adopt new testing methodologies, best practices, and tools from appropriate sources to improve test coverage
Research new tools and recommend ways to implement them into test strategies
Facilitate offshore testing efforts when appropriate
What You Should Have
Bachelor?s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in software testing
Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
Passion for engineering excellence through automation and process improvements
Analytical problem solving and passion for quality
Deep desire and ability to break software
Understanding of software engineering processes, particularly agile methodology
Ability to write compelling blog posts on your experiences that can help our customers be successful
Strong social media and online marketing presence with your own twitter handle, website and/or blog.
