Quality Assurance Engineer - Servers SeaMicro

Candidate will be responsible for Quality Assurance of CPU, BIOS, Memory and Serial Interface subsystems of data center servers.
Responsibilities:

Designing, automating and executing test plans for a complex data center appliance for CPU, BIOS, Memory and Serial Interface sub-systems.
Documenting scripts, configurations, procedures, test results, and defects.
Working closely with Product Management and Engineering in defining feature requirements and customer use cases.
Verifying that features are developed as per the specification.
Working with Engineering and Customer Support to assist with the troubleshooting of defects reported by customers or found during in-house release testing.

Qualifications:

Experience in Quality Assurance of CPU, BIOS, Memory and Serial Interface sub-systems.
Experience with various flavors of Linux/BSD ? RHEL, CentOS, Debian, FreeBSD, etc.
Build Servers utilizing PXE ? Jumpstart (Solaris), Kickstart (RHEL, CentOS), and Preceed (Debian).
Working knowledge of Linux OS Provisioning details DHCP, Bootp, PXE, DNS, NFS, TFTP, and SMB.
Experience installing and configuring LAMP, Apache, PHP, MySQL, Java, Tomcat, and Ruby on Rails.
Experience in using Linux Test Tools ? LTP, IOZOne, Xdd, Netperf, Httperf, etc.
Experience with VMWare and XEN is a plus.
Experience with Hadoop applications is a plus.
Experience testing HP, Dell or IBM blade hardware is a plus.
Experience in the NAS/SAN Storage Environment is a plus.
Must be able to automate test cases using a common scripting language/tool e.g. Tcl/Expect.
2-5 years of experience with a BS degree in CS, EE, or Computer Engineering; MS degree preferred.
