Job Description
eMeter is seeking a QA engineer to work for its industry-leading enterprise software solution. The SQA Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing test cases. The ideal candidate will have the desire to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
Description
Major Responsibilities:
o Work closely with engineering teams to analyze and resolve product defects.
o Strategize, design, and develop manual and automated test cases and documentation for your assigned area of work.
o Communicate test coverage, ?red flags? and anomalies to the QA Manager to aid in making the decision to certify releases.
o Take ownership of certain product module QA efforts.
Qualifications:
o Minimum 3 years experience as a full-time QA Engineer within a large, structured software/internet QA group
o Strong Analysis and Communication Skills
o Quick learner and creative problem solver, ability to work independently and on a team
o Ability to maintain a consistent test methodology and resolve questions and ambiguities
o Detail oriented, strong people skills and resourceful in issue resolution
o Understanding of software product life cycle and Agile development processes.
o Experience with UI testing and database testing.
o Experience with web services
o Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies
o Experience writing SQL queries to verify database tables
o Working knowledge of Oracle database, Linux, Windows
o XML verification experience
o Automation Experience is a plus
