NetProspex is seeking to hire a quality assurance engineer with strong experience in software testing. This position is part of the product development team responsible for design, development, testing and
release of all customer-facing and internal applications, APIs and partner integrations.
Responsibilities
? Identify and mitigate software quality issues associated with the design, production and release of software products.
? Review product design documents, review, create and execute test cases; create and maintain test data; record test results.
? In addition to hands-on testing, the Engineer will assist in coordinating the work of other QA testers.
Requirements
? Understanding of software development life cycle and methodology and software quality assurance concepts
? Command of the discipline of testing software applications
? Innovative problem solving skills
? Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally
? Ability to work under minimal supervision
? Understanding of QA automation strategies
Helpful Skills
? Experience in an Agile development environment
? HTML/XML
? SQL
? Management of testing environments
? Knowledge of VMware
