JOB DESCRIPTIONComframe Software Corporation has an immediate opening for a permanent Quality Assurance (QA) Lead position available in Birmingham, Alabama.
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
Experience in the creation of software testing plans
Great attention to detail regarding software functionality and usability; Ability to use available software functions and tools to evaluate performance, reliability, bugs and other failures
Ability to record detailed metrics and track the progress and outcomes of the testing process
Ability to communicate effectively with software engineers regarding tested software; Ability to provide test status verbally and in writing, making recommendations, debugging failures and/or performing other tasks required by our client
qualifications
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: BS degree
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5+ years of quality assurance in software engineering; Experience with enterprise-level QA programs; Experience with MKS/ALM product with emphasis on QA best practices
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Strong oral and written communication abilities; Solid analytical and technical skills; Able to use all related hardware and software
Must be willing to contract to hire (with our client)
