Develop, review and maintain test cases, plans and schedules
Ensure documentation and practices meet quality standards, company guidelines/policies and test plans.
Review requirements documents for accuracy and completeness and ensure coverage by appropriate test cases.
Work in an exciting and dynamic environment with shifting priorities and responsibilities.
Keep the Product Manager informed of any issues regarding the quality of deliverables, or potential impact to project timelines.
Accurately track and report the status of assigned deliverables.
Create and maintain data (mostly XML) to support test cases, demos and POCs
Become SME for multiple applications to provide level-2 support assistance as needed
At least 3 years of computer system validation in a software development environment
Experience with MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint
Knowledge of software lifecycle approaches (e.g. SDLC methodologies, ITIL)
Experience with defect tracking systems (JIRA, HP QC, etc.) would be beneficial
Ability to write, read, and understand business as well as technical requirements
Experience with software lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, with emphasis on quality assurance and testing best practices
Strong presentation and communication skills
Detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to deal with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitude
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgment
Self-motivated and adaptable to shifting priorities
Previous experience with packaged business applications (SAP, Oracle, etc.) would be an advantage
Knowledge of EDI and XML standards and tools (e.g. XMLspy) would be an advantage
An understanding of user-experience design (wireframes, mockups, etc.) would be an advantage
Prior experience building out automated regression test toolsets would be an advantage
Experience in multiple industries (publishing, retail, manufacturing, etc.) would be an advantage
