Responsibilities
Â
- Evaluates features and develops manual test cases to new or modified game features
- Identifies and requests needs for QA testing from the QE team
- Reviews tasks and checklists required from software deployment
- Measure feature slip or creep against sprint impact and report
- Document stakeholder expectations where applicable
- Implement project governance where possible
- Conduct project discovery sessions
- Evaluates proposed game enhancement or improvement for feasibility
- Provides test results and metrics for game status
- Develops testing procedures used to verify that functionality is according to requirements
- Develops coverage for user acceptance, smoke, integration, regression, functional, compatibility, and performance test casescode check-ins to determine proper scope and prioritization for testing
- Establishes and maintains documentation for games by working with development and production
- Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures for game design and product evaluation to attain quality of software and efficiency
- Reviews new or modified game documentation to determine if game performs according to specs
- Recommends game improvements or corrections to interdepartmental staff
- Ensures testing is in place for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to features
- Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction
- Provides guidance and training to QA Analysts and Testers
- Effectively leads game team

- Passion for games, interest in social games
- Desire quality in their daily tasks
- Ability to work at both detailed and abstract levels
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and technical trouble shooting skills
- Able to communicate clearly
- Experience diagnosing, reporting, tracking, and resolving issues

Qualifications
Â
- 4+ years experience in game testing in a large organization across multiple mobile platforms including iOS and Android
- Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum process and comfortable working in a fast paced agile environment
- Team player with strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experienced with using version control, and bug tracking systemsÂ
- Detail-oriented and deadline driven
