3E Company is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager at their corporate headquarters in beautiful Carlsbad, CA.
Maintain and improve Quality Assurance processes at 3E Company, aligning to best practices and organizational directives.Identify practices or procedures throughout 3E Company Operations that adversely affect service quality. Leads and participates in the definition and implementation of corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of the problem. Performs root cause analysis. Initiates follow-up audits on corrective actions.
Monitor and improve metrics to measure quality throughout organization.
Assure the quality program and associated procedures are documented and maintained. Schedule and perform internal audits to assure compliance with written procedures. Maintains documentation of audit and QA/QC procedures.
Create, prepare, maintain and distribute quality reports.
Assist with Quality Assurance statements for RFP?s as needed.
Create and implement ongoing Quality Management training programs for Operations management.Responsible for maintaining customer (internal and external) concern tracking criteria, logging, electronic tracking system design, user compliance for data input, standard metrics, trend analysis and year end summary reporting.
Develop and implement program to cross-train staff and expand skill set.
Initial and ongoing training for all Operations staff on QA/QC procedures, audit protocols, scoring and follow-up.
Issues periodic reports to Vice President of Operations. Immediately notifies appropriate management of any significant quality problem or deficiency.
Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.
Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
4+ years experience in Quality Assurance or related field.
BA/BS degree or higher, or equivalent experience.
Proven success in managing a Quality Assurance program: establishing testing methodologies, developing metrics, and managing the Quality Management System.
Effective communications skills, with the ability to develop and give effective presentations, adjusting delivery based on audience, objective, and forum.
Proven ability to implement process controls and quality management systems for high-volume work load conditions, ideally within a service-based business model.
Ability to prioritize assigned projects, set and meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Ability to focus on identifying root cause in an objective and factual manner.
Working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
Environmental Health & Safety background is a plus.
Certifications related to quality or process improvement methodologies are beneficial.
Thorough knowledge and effective use of MS Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
