Quality Assurance Manager Contactual

Summary:

Contactual is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for our San Carlos, CA location. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and will be responsible for creating and executing a strategy to ensure that all releases of the SaaS based application meet stringent quality goals. The candidate will build and lead the QA team which consists of test engineers in California and India. This hands-on position will be responsible for defining and executing all system and functional tests; testing automation; load testing and performance benchmarks.
The successful candidate will have:

- Excellent skills in analyzing and debugging complex applications and systems
- Experience testing within an Agile development environment
- Experience implementing test cases using scripting languages
- 5+ years experience with automated test tools (e.g. QTP, LoadRunner, etc.)
- A strong QA process and techniques skill set
- 5+ years testing experience with Unix/Linux
- Experience managing local and offshore QA team members
- Extensive experience with design and implementation of test scripts and automation
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- BS in Computer Science or related field of education
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effort & ensure that tasks are completed on schedule
- Strong experience in performing API level testing along with white box and gray box testing

Desirable:

- QA experience with SaaS technologies and applications
- Experience with testing VoIP and SIP based applications
- Previous software development experience
- Experience using testing tools for code coverage and memory usage.
