Quality Assurance Manager Laszlo Systems

Laszlo Systems is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager that is passionate about software quality to lead our dynamic, global QA team.

The QA Manager is responsible for our quality strategy, leading the testing team, implementing new test tools and processes, and overseeing the software release process. You will lead our team of skilled testing engineers, directing their work, developing their skill-sets, and growing the team. You will oversee and improve our testing tools, looking for ways to improve software quality through process and tooling. You will expand our test libraries, while advancing our automated testing efforts. Finally, you will work closely with all departments to coordinate software releases and deliver on our quality commitments. You must bring a balance of strong, hands-on technical experience along with excellent communication and team skills.

Requirements

College graduate with 5+ years of experience as a software engineer or a QA engineer and 2+ years managing a global software testing team
Hands-on expertise in writing software test plans and test scripts, and proven experience designing and implementing software testing strategies
Experience managing complex testing environments
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Experience with automated testing tools
Experience with Open Source testing tools a plus (Selenium, Testlink, etc)
Experience with Unix environments (Linux, Solaris).
