What you'll be doing:
Develop test plans, trouble shoot and track bugs, and help drive the day to day prioritization of support tickets. You will work closely with other teams within the company including product managers, project managers, development, marketing, user experience, editorial, metrics and the executive team.
Develop user test plans and track issues.
Ensure the launch of new products and enhancement of existing products are rigorously tested both pre and post launch.
Troubleshoot issues identified by both internal team members and from end users.
Organize and prioritize tickets for the development teams.
Identify and analyze opportunities to improve products.
Work with project managers to define a reasonable execution schedule.
Recognize trade-offs throughout the product development process to balance business objectives while maintaining release schedules.
Troubleshoot and identify product defects & bugs.
Experience with automated QA processes a real plus.
Knowledge of Gherkin language is desired.
What you need know:
3+ years experience in product QA or supporting complex website products.
Ability and desire to drive successful pre-launch and post-launch issue tracking.
Strong analytical skills, with knowledge of basic html and web applications.
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of end users and technical resources.
Self-motivated individual able to evaluate, maintain and prioritize multiple objectives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Awareness and experience working in Behaviorial Driven Development (BDD)? agile methodology is a plus.
