Eloqua is looking for a passionate and talented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Vienna, Virginia. Your mission is to work with the Eloqua R&D team to create test strategies, uncover software issues and recommend the scope of quality issues that must be addressed during the Agile process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Quality Assurance Specialist will work with self-organizing teams to identify testing needs and dependencies and formulate and execute test plans. In this role, you will work very closely with Product Managers and Developers to promote quality and ensure quality is addressed by the team at all stages of the project.
You will be a part of the Quality and Performance Engineering team and you will own a portion of the software regression suite and ensure stability of the product leading up to major and minor software releases.
This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience
- University Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or other technical field
- Experience working in an Agile environment/project
- Experience with automated testing is an asset
- Experience working with distributed teams is an asset
- Familiarity with scripting languages (i.e. Ruby) is an asset
- Familiarity with databases (i.e. SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) is an asset
- Exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills
