Quality Automation Engineer Zoom Information

Zoom Information is looking for a results-driven, energetic Quality Assurance Engineer who is passionate about leading edge technologies such as Hadoop, Solr, Cassandra, JQMS, and Struts to join a team of outstanding professionals building the next breakthrough in B2B information services. The focus of this position will be to design and implement a Java and Selenium test automation framework to be used as the foundation of our automated test library to provide reliable and expanding test coverage of our databases, data exchange, and both programmatic and interactive user interfaces.

Responsibilities

Design and develop test tools and libraries to be used by our Agile Teams for product validation

Enhance Selenium functionality to meet the technical requirements of the Zoom product suite

Work with Development Architects and other QA Engineers to implement new automation test mechanisms

Integrate automated test execution into nightly build systems

Monitor, report on, and maintain existing automated test suites

Work with Agile Teams and other QA Engineers to understand and implement appropriate automated tests

Participate on Agile Teams to implement and validate new product features

Requirements

2+ years Java programming, including class hierarchy development and use

1+ year experience integrating Selenium into automated test systems

Experience with any web-based automated testing or development tool to understand how UI elements are identified and manipulated

Proven experience writing backend validation utilities or shell scripts

Prior exposure to JUnit, TestNG, or other testing technologies

Ability to translate project requirements into validation points
