The Quality/Change Manager is responsible for creating and implementing change and quality management plans and deliverables for the Software Engineering Department. This role will work closely with the Software Engineering and Quality Assurance/Engineering teams to develop, implement, monitor and maintain processes and procedures related to the development and deployment of platform software and services. Candidate should be familiar with different SDLC methodologies and have experience in implementing and driving change and quality throughout a development organization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Apply a structured quality/change management approach and methodology.
Manage and implement a quality/change management strategy.
Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns.
Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.
Develop a set of actionable and targeted quality/change management plans ? including a communication plan.
Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes.
Identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions.
Create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success.
Work with Software Engineering and Quality Assurance/Engineering teams to integrate quality/change management activities into all projects.
Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; apply feedback to improve performance; monitor own work to ensure quality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent problem solving/analytical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and respond to multiple and conflicting requests under tight deadlines and in a dynamic working environment.
Ability to analyze processes and procedures and identify areas of risk or conflict and recommend change to provide improvement.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with developers and QA team members.
Experience and Education
3-5 years experience in implementing and driving change in an organization.
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Information Systems or other degree with equivalent work experience required.
