Job Title: Quality Control Analyst
Responsibilities:
Work with Corporate Quality Assurance Director, functional managers, analysts and all operational groups to ensure standardized processes are in place, internal and external customer requirements are being met, and measure and provide visibility into day to day operations
Review Quality Control reports to ensure work completion and accuracy requirements are being met
Address deficiencies with analysts and managers as required
Continuously review and standardize processes to maintain consistency and handoff efficiencies
Instill checks and balances to ensure accuracy of completed work
Implement quality controls into daily processes inherent to the operation
Build preventive measures within our systems wherever possible to proactively avoid errors
Establish visibility and metrics for all company service areas, subsets and functions
Initiate and work with appropriate groups to develop new or enhanced QC reports for broader visibility of all operational areas
Prepare and review trending of all Quality Control attributes in an effort to measure progress
Assist with developing monitoring and reporting for Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements throughout the organization
Perform regular quality audits of processes to ensure adherence and recommend quality improvements and efficiencies
Maintain oversight of centralized Quality Control module repository for Quality Control reports and metrics
Maintain an internal and external (customer) quality tracking system for documenting and closure of defects, issues and complaints
Performs other duties as directed
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
4 year bachelor degree with 2 years of prior relevant quality control experience
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge: Good knowledge of service oriented Quality Control processes. Reasonable understanding of billing operations and telecommunications industry. General knowledge of business tools, operations and structures.
Skill: Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills. Computer savvy with proficiency in Word and Excel, with SQL a plus. Emphasis on customer service and quality. Highly organized. Analytical and pays attention to detail. Teamwork oriented and strategically focused.
Ability: Self starter working both independently and within a team environment. Able to solve problems and make decisions with good reasoning ability. Quickly adapts to changing situations. Able to build standardization, efficiencies and accuracy into operational processes
