Neurotech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NPI) is a biotech company located in Lincoln, Rhode Island. NPI is utilizing a proprietary delivery technology platform, Encapsulated Cell technology (ECT), to deliver therapeutic factors for the treatment of retinal diseases.NPI is seeking a Quality Control Manager. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in analytical methods and familiarity with microbiology. The responsibilities of this position include:
Responsibilities include:
? Maintains QC operations in GMP compliance and regulatory inspection ready
? Ensures that all testing is conducted in accordance with established test methods and/or USP
? Leads in the development and validation activities of new and existing analytical assays
? Assists in laboratory investigations
? Manages analytical and microbial release testing assays (Elisa, sterility testing, endotoxin, etc)
? Review of documentation and disposition of results
? Develops and manages an environmental monitoring program
? Trending of results and report writing
? QC and release of reagents/raw materials
? Conducts periodic reviews of standard operating procedures for adequacy and compliance with current versions of compendia
? Works or collaborates with other groups (QA, Validation, R&D, etc.) on special studies/projects
Job Qualifications:
? MS degree in a scientific field
? 5-7 years experience in Quality Control
? Hands on experience/strong understanding of standard analytical methods
? Ability to identify problems and troubleshoot
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Good oral and written communication skills
? Solid management and computer skills
? Assisting with regulatory inspections or other audit activities
