Job Summary:
Manage Quality function and lead plant-wide efforts to improve business performance and customer satisfaction through developing and implement effective Quality Management Systems
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Works Independently, with department members to set the Quality Agenda for Manufacturing
Effective Leader who can advocate and drive Quality across the organization
Builds cross functional coalitions to achieve quality objectives
Sets QA/QC agenda for Manufacturing
Develop, implement, communicate and maintain Operational Quality Management System
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards
Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply.
Developing and delivering quality training
Ensuring QA/QC tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and analyzed
Responsible for reporting on the QA/QC performance
Develop and report on Key Metrics
Manage Testing and, Metrology Lab and manufacturing QA/QC functions
Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the QA/QC
Setting QA compliance objectives and ensuring that goals are achieved
Working to Integrate Quality Management Systems with ERP, PLM and other corporate IT tools
Minimum Qualifications:
BS degree
Experience in both automated assembly and chemical/powder processing highly desirable
Detailed working knowledge of ISO standards
Proven results in leading a Quality Organization
Detailed working knowledge in the following:
Corrective Action/Root Cause Analysis
Statistical Process Control
Failure Modes and Effect Analysis
Mistake Proofing
5S implementation
Gauge Calibration and Control
PPAP or other product qualification processes
Control Plans
Previous experience integrating quality systems and ERP highly desirable
Previous experience with data collection and SPC systems highly desirable
Experience with Statistical Software preferred
Experienced Quality Auditor preferred
Strong presentation and training skills required
