This position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated person with experience in software testing. Individual will utilize manual testing techniques in completion of responsibilities. Time management and ability to work within a team environment are also key elements of this role. Written and verbal communication skills are a top priority. Individual should demonstrate solid analytical skills. Individual must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet schedule deadlines, in a dynamic, short-cycle development model, while assuring that Qvidian?s clients receive quality software.

Responsibilities:
Create, document and maintain test plans and test cases for both existing and new product functionality
Execution of both manual and automated testing based on test plans/test cases. This may entail the use of either black box or white box testing mechanisms
Create and analyze product issues, document appropriately using online bug tracking application
Work with Developers, Client Management, and Customer Support to isolate, clarify and document both functional and technical issues
Be a conduit or liaison for information flow on product issues
Communicate status on issues or roadblocks, as well as accomplishments and plans
Become knowledgeable and proficient in the use of Qvidian products
Qualifications:
4 year college degree ? preferably in a technical discipline such as Math, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
Familiarity with all Windows server and client operating systems
Adaptive, thrives in/energized by a demanding, dynamic, work environment
Understanding of basic QA processes, including but not limited to the use of problem reporting/bug tracking applications
Automated software testing tool knowledge ? Coded UI, TestComplete, Sellenium
Experience in a CI/CD environment
Previous scripting experience would be a plus ? VBA or other
This position reports to the Director of Engineering.
