Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. We are currently seeking a full-time, Quality Improvement Specialist to join our Corporate Office in St. Louis Park.
The Quality Improvement Specialist will support the development and implementation of quality improvement interventions and safety audits as well as assists in resolving deficiencies impacting compliance to regulatory and accreditation standards. Routinely partners with a diverse range of clinical and administrative professionals across departments and markets, performs data analytics and reporting activities that support continuous quality improvement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing the Experience.
? Gathers and analyzes clinical data, evaluating for patterns and trending.
? Discovers root causes for specific patient care trends and reports findings to promote learning and process improvement across the enterprise.
? Provides training and support for accreditation and regulatory requirements.
? Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of clinical policies and procedures.
? Identifies deficiencies and proposes solutions in the spirit of continuous quality improvement.
? Coordinates, monitors and facilitates internal quality audits.
? Develops and distributes training and educational materials that promote safety and quality improvement efforts.
? Reports data patterns and trending to the Safety and Compliance Committees for review.
? Serves as a resource for the development and maintenance of accreditation efforts.
? Promotes best practice efforts and consistently supports continuous process and quality improvement.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
? Knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standards
? Knowledge of federal, state and OSHA safety regulations
? Ability to work independently and in a team environment
? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines with a sense of urgency
? Ability to be flexible in schedule and adaptable to constant change
? Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks, frequent interruptions, and details with accuracy

? Skill in written and verbal communication
? Knowledge of and adherence to company policies and protocols
? Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
? Bachelor?s Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
? Minimum 2-3 years of direct clinical experience in a healthcare setting required.
? Experience in quality improvement and process improvement.
? RN preferred
