Summary of Functions:
Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Quality Manager for our operation in the Memphis community.
Summary of Functions:
Is appointed by top management with the responsibility and authority to ensure that processes needed for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained; reports to management on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement; ensures the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization; possesses the organizational freedom to resolve matters pertaining to quality and maintain product/service conformity.
Essential Functions:
Execute the Quality Management System according to New Breed documented policies and procedures, meeting the requirements of the applicable international quality standard(s)
Review the Quality Management System, at planned intervals, to ensure its continuing suitability, adequacy, and effectiveness, including assessing opportunities for improvement and the need for changes system
Serve as the site audit authority for all internal and external company audits
Post the New Breed Quality Policy and address policy training to ensure it is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels
Ensure appropriate documents are controlled
Execute corrective and preventive actions including initiation and recommendation of solutions; measurements of performance; project management; approval authorizations; verifying the solutions have been implemented; managing further processing, release or installation of nonconforming service, until the defect has been corrected
Ensure that facility/department training status and set-up is reviewed at the required frequency and the training requirements are met in a timely manner
Implement Company quality initiatives at their facility as required (i.e., 7S, Lean, Six
Sigma, ACE, etc.)
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Prior experience with ISO9001 and/or other Quality Standards preferred
Bachelor?s Degree or experience in lieu of a degree
5+ years experience in warehousing and/or 3PL operations including supervisory experience
