Quality & Reliability Manager/Director Tilera

Tilera Corporation is a fabless semiconductor company committed to delivering amazing compute performance and extremely low power consumption. The Quality leader in this position will oversee all quality management system practices at Tilera.
Responsibilities:
Drive Quality philosophy and strategy for the company.
Define qualification plans and manage successful execution for all Tilera?s products.
Be seen across the company as the Quality and process leader.
Develop Reliability Goals & Metrics that tie together all stages of the product life cycle.
Drive ISO 9001 plan and successful certification across all departments in the company.
Manage subcontractor and vendor quality metrics and continuous improvement plans.
Define and drive QA strategies and implement plans for Tilera silicon and systems products.
Define and manage outbound QA methodology and implementation of policies and procedures.
Support Marketing and sales design wins through driving customer QA surveys, audits and follow-on quality programs.
Manage customer returns through failure analysis and corrective actions both internally and thru supply chain.
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in in quality/reliability engineering preferably in a SEMICONDUCTOR fabless environment.
Experience with embedded processors, systems and software products.
Demonstrated experience interacting with customer quality and procurement teams.
Deep understanding of silicon and packaging processes and reliability demonstration methods.
Excellent understanding of silicon test methodology and procedures.
Working knowledge of VLSI design /DFT methodologies.
Working knowledge of board/system manufacturing processes and board qualification methods.
ISO 9001 certification experience required.
Exposure to MRP systems and familiarity with planning processes for silicon and board products.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
BA/BS in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Some travel required to both customer and supply chain partners domestic and International.
