To help us achieve our strategic business goals, we are currently looking for a Sales Suppport Specialist (Quote Desk Manager) to join our Cloud Business Unit.
With a global presence and a proven success rate of delivering technology solutions to support our client?s business, we need to employ top talent to support our key business functions. Our Sales Support Specialists support the business in realising its strategic objectives by providing operations activities that significantly contribute to the success of a sales and bid organization and that organizations ability to meet/exceed business targets.
As a Sales Support Specialist for the CBU, your key function will be to support the CBU sales team and regional sales teams in selling Cloud offerings to their clients at specific stages of the sales cycle. Support will include management of our CBU Quote Desk which provides accurate pricing for complex bids, opportunity management, supporting advanced and application services being delivered by the CBU on the roadmap and support of strategic vendor agreements on a global basis
What we will expect you to do:
In this capacity we will need you to deliver on the following:
We will require you to work with the relevant business support functions (Human Resources, Finance, IT and Marketing) to execute and deploy relevant projects and programmes in your area of specialisation.
You will compile and generate sales metrics, reports and forecasts according to agreed schedules.
You will need to provide pricing and pricing support for deals, bids and future roadmap services.
We will rely on you to work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders who are globally dispersed at all stages in the sales cycle.
You will need to be responsible for a principled process for selecting and defining metrics linked to the sales strategy and setting corresponding performance targets.
We will need you to track POS (point of sale) compensation requests in line with our Strategic Development Agreement for all regions and work closely with the regional lead and vendor contacts to consolidate the information.

Qualifications
Here?s what we are looking for in candidates for this job:
Key requirements:
A relevant business or commercial degree.
At least 5 years? experience in sales support role within a similar environment.
Good project management skills, coupled with experience in RFP/RFI?s.
Key abilities required:
You can work effectively in teams and identify and manage their assigned work processes.
You will need to contribute ideas to the improvement of internal processes.
You will need to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Self starter, pro-active attitude
