Responsibilities:Operate and ensure continuous operation of furnaces and other equipment as needed and is appropriate
Work with scientists and engineers to write and debug recipe programs and troubleshoot any tool issues
Perform SPC on furnaces
Interface with vendors for support, replacement parts, software/hardware upgrades
Schedule and perform preventative maintenance
Maintain support equipment (e.g., gas cabinet and abatement scrubbers)
Train new users/operators
Interface with controls group to ensure safe operation of tool
Document maintenance procedures and tool history
Requirements:
5+ years of experience with photovoltaic or semiconductor processing equipment
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in a relevant technical discipline
Experience with vacuum systems, pneumatics, electrical components and diagrams
Experience handling hazardous materials and gases
Experience with SPC a plus
Experience with a programming language or computer-controlled processing a plus
Experience with CAD or similar design programs a plus
Strong attention to detail
Ability to complete tasks on time
Strong analytical and communication skills.
