Sunivas mission is to continue the commercialization of highefficiency crystalline silicon solar.
This position is based in the United States with sponsorship and attractive relocation package.
Emphasis is on the advancement of n-type cell performance (efficiency) using manufacturing processes developed for high throughput, high yield, and low cost. Skills and knowledge which facilitate such advancement are sought, including familiarity with the formation, passivation, and contacting of boron-doped emitters, and with equipment and instrumentation used in existing manufacturing lines. The ability to innovate and to apply advanced concepts, such as surface passivation by new dielectric materials and the effective creation of local contacts, is regarded highly. Silicon microelectronics industry experience, specifically solar, is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Post Graduate degree in technical field (PhD or MS with at least 2 years work experience) in one of the listed fields (Electrical, Chemical, Materials Science Engineering or Physics)
Relevant Solar R&D crystalline Si PV experience
Track record of interacting with equipment and technology vendors for semiconductor or PV product development
n-type monocrystalline solar cells desired
Boron-doped emitters desired
experience with passivation & metalization desired
Candidate must have excellent communication skills
Candidate should be a self-starter and a team player with a proven track-record of innovative solutions to difficult problems
