To continue our solid growth, we are seeking a talented and highly motivated Research Associate/Sr Research Associate to join our Assay Development Group. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, on multiple projects, with some of the best minds in the business. You will have an opportunity to develop breakthrough products and significantly impact the successful development of a new disruptive technology in its early stages. You will be a part of a rapidly growing company on a trajectory to have a major impact in the life science research and clinical diagnostics arenas.
Responsibilities will broadly include developing and validating new immunoassay reagents for Quanterix's proprietary technology. You will apply your laboratory skills and experience to develop new reagents and generate high quality data in support of verification and validation. You will also be helping develop documentation and procedures for validation, testing and transfer to manufacturing toward commercialization.
B.S or M.S in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Life Science
At least 3-5 years of experience in immunoassay development preferred
Desired experience includes ELISA reagent development and optimization, assay protocol optimization, verification and validation
Experience in the following areas is a plus: conjugation chemistry, eg. conjugating antibodies to solid surfaces (microbeads), biotinylation, scale-up and process improvement techniques, preparation and execution of reagent stability protocols and execution of quality control SOPs
You must be detail oriented, and have excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills. Also, a strong work ethic to generate high quality data under tight deadlines and a collaborative and proactive attitude is a must.
