Reports To: Director, Radiochemistry and Radiopharmaceutical Development
Description:
In this role, the radiopharmaceutical development scientist is expected to contribute meaningfully to Avid Radiopharmaceuticals? radiopharmaceutical development program. He/She will actively participate in the manufacturing of development/research batches. In addition, the individual will be required to support clinical trial studies by manufacturing radiopharmaceutical batches under cGMP environment.
Duties include:
?Preparation of development/research radiopharmaceutical batches.
?Recording data on batch records and logs in accordance to cGXPs.
?Maintenance and cleaning of equipments and facilities
?Development and generation of applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical reports
?Maintenance of a well-organized data filing system
?Performing daily laboratory operations
?Manufacture of radiopharmaceuticals for clinical use
Requirements:
?Associate Degree in Science (or related field) with 2+ years of experiences in cGMP production environment is desirable or B.S. in Chemistry (or related field)
?Working knowledge of HPLC, and other analytical techniques such as LC/MS, GC, NMR, is desirable
?Strong organizational skills
?Excellent written and verbal communication skills
?Experience with pharmaceutical cGMP/GLP, ICH, FDA guidelines is desirable.
?Knowledge of organic synthetic chemistry is desirable
