JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for revenue cycle systems, processes, planning, and data analytics to support reliable, consistent analysis within the Revenue Cycle & Finance areas to support company financial and business operations and growth.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Creates a positive experience for every customer, every day by believing in and practicing the CDI Experience
? Leads the completion of multiple special projects for Revenue Cycle Management and Finance team related to revenue systems and processes
? Leads and oversees revenue impact of organizational changes and growth as it relates to process improvement and direction of revenue cycle program or plans
? Manages large-scale projects impacting revenue cycle areas
? Performs consultative direction with Management for revenue cycle improvement initiatives
? Manages and oversees various analytics to support multiple Company customers (Hospitals, Radiology Groups, and Other Billing/Collections and/or Management Agreements) requiring collaboration of Revenue Cycle Management and Accounting
? Manages, prepares and analyzes financial/revenue summary reports for management presentations, business reviews, key findings and recommendations
? Oversees and performs project management including complex modeling and impact analyses to support Company anticipation of coding or contracting methodology changes
? Provides analytic direction and management for payor contract negotiations
? Facilitates and manages the process for analyzing, tracking, and reporting of departmental metrics within Revenue Cycle departments and, as appropriate, across the Company
? Directs and leads business case scenario development related to internal and external Department projects
? Directs and leads business case scenario development related to upfront call collections, tools and processes
? Provides periodic revenue forecasts based on historical data and current business plans
? Performs and manages rate analysis support and financial statement review
? Conducts and manages cost/benefit analysis and/or breakeven analysis for various projects and/or programs
? Participates, leads or manages special projects upon request
? Oversees the process, procedure and workflow of the Senior Revenue Analyst.

? Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and safety guidelines
? MBA/MHA degree with 3-5 years minimum healthcare industry or consulting experience in revenue cycle projects or billing systems preferred
? Strong project management, analytical and research skills with a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception through completion
? Experience with budgeting/forecasting/planning preferred
? Strong MS Excel and Access experience required
? Competency with spreadsheets and database analytical tools
? May require some travel to other CDI markets
? Management or supervisor experience is preferred.
