Blu Homes is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Blu Homes Real Estate Specialist.
Blu Homes is a fast growing innovative technology company aiming to change the landscape of the housing market with best-in-class precision built green houses. Using a uniquely integrated business model, and deeply proprietary information and building science technology, Blu empowers homeowners to design their homes with a free online 3-D configurator. The houses then are built in a Blu factory using a proprietary steel framing system that offers unique beauty, environmental performance and strength, delivered to sites nationwide, and finished by Blu teams. Reporting to the VP of Sales, America?s, the real estate specialist will be a core part of Blu?s sales team, with the principal responsibility of generating revenue by assisting qualified Blu prospects in the identification, evaluation, and purchase of land for Blu Homes. The land specialist will be exclusive to Blu Homes and additionally responsible for placing their focus on building strong partnerships with local realtors in Blu?s key markets to acquire the most up to date information on available land.
This person is expected to work in Blu?s San Francisco office and interface with clients in the Northern CA region.
Candidates should be sharp, mature, down to earth, fun, good communicators, high energy, have a ?sense of urgency?, and excitement and understanding of startup culture. Position requires significant sales experience, great interpersonal skills, and strong facility with technical and quantitative analysis tools. Applicants with an interest or understanding of growing a startup company, and/or experience with high tech companies, are preferred.
Key responsibilities:
Planning
Work directly with Blu Sales Consultants to help Blu Home prospects find land and then act as the ?buyer?s agent? for the purchase of the property;
Participate in the development of land search strategy, company business plans, and national growth planning and execution;
Sales
Report weekly on learning/market pulse in target markets;
Follow up on qualified ?no land? leads generated from marketing campaigns;
Travel to meet with prospective clients in Northern CA;
Build network of realtor partners throughout Northern CA;
Join Local MLS Boards in key Blu Homes markets
Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Blu?s products and process;
Represent the Blu brand well, internally and externally.
This role has the potential opportunity to become more of a leadership and management position.

Key requirements:
Education: Minimum of a bachelor?s degree in business, finance, marketing, urban planning or similar.
Qualifications & Experience:
Candidate needs to have a minimum of 3-5years of real estate experience. Having knowledge of the construction process and sustainable building is also a value add. Employee must have and maintain a real estate brokerage license in the State of California. Employee will work in brokerage company that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Blu Homes.

Member of CA Association of Realtors
Extensive knowledge of the California Association of Realtors Forms
Ability to identify and evaluate lot buildability and value;
Outstanding sales/communications skills;
Demonstrated ability to work thoughtfully with clients;
Ability to manage and grow a substantial base of real estate partners;
Strong technical skills ? must be able to work with Blu?s innovative digital tools;
Ability to travel.

Compensation: Base salary plus commission. Other compensation includes stock options, and competitive benefits package.
