The JobResponsibilities- Acknowledge and take receipt of all incoming materials and packages, identify receipt in ERP/Warp, transport to receiving inspection, stockroom or identified buyer/requestor
- Support the packaging and shipping of materials
- Take direction from Shipping/Receiving lead
- Receive all materials/packages and transact receipt in the ERP/WARP Receiving system
- Create/print receiver travelers for the receipt of material/packages
- File and maintain records of packing sheets/invoices for a minimum of 2 years
- Responsible for system integrity in regards to all receipts and shipments
- Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with good practice and procedures
- Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for damage, correct part numbers and quantity (as required)
- Validate Lot Trace (as required)
- Interface with Traffic, Quality Control, Purchasing and other related departments to resolve problems relative to receipt and distribution of material
- Perform good housekeeping chores in area
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment per Safety procedures
- Evaluate hazardous receipts/shipments and determine applicable methodology and packaging specifications
- Coordinate internal receipt pickup and internal delivery service (as required)
Requirements- High school diploma
- Must be capable to be certified to operate fork lift and/or other material handling motorized vehicles and equipment and the handling of hazardous material
- Desired Hazardous materials awareness/certification (IATA and 49 CFR)
- Must be available to work first shift hours and overtime, as necessary.
Additional position information- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching and carrying at least 50 pounds are generally required to perform the functions of this position
