The Job
Responsibilities
- Working on new exciting challenges in an R&D environment where teamwork is #1.
- Utilizes inspection equipment such as micrometers,calipers and profilometer.
- Approves or rejects items and documents inspection results as required.
- Performs documentation review and verification of certifications, specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements.
- Communicates with internal customers, and suppliers as required to resolve inspection discrepancies.
- Use electronic ERP system to route parts and components to proper departments.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of aerospace precision mechanical inspection experience required.
- Must be able to detect design and drawing flaws.
- Receiving and in process inspection experience is required.
- Requi9res the ability to rea and interpret engingeering drawings and specificaitons using ASME Y14.5.
- GD&T and skillful use of metrology tools and gauges required.
- Solid computer skills in Microft Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Must be able to work all hours, shifts, and weekends and overtime, if required.
