POSITION TITLE
Recruiter (Bilingual Albanian and English)
This position requires travel to Albania for a period not to exceed 60 days. To service our customer in Albania, the tentative hours of operation will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central European Time (CET), which is 2:00 am to 11:00 am Eastern Standard Time (EST). Operational hours may include weekends and all U.S. Government Holidays, which are not celebrated as public holidays in Albania.
JOB PURPOSE
To achieve the staffing objectives of FPMI Solutions by sourcing, recruiting, evaluating, and onboarding job candidates for identified positions in Albania.
LOCATION
This position reports directly to FPMI's Shared Service Center located in Huntsville, Alabama with all work being performed in Albania. At the expense of FPMI, the employee will be required to obtain an Albanian work permit.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Communicates effectively in both English and Albanian with job applicants, candidates, customers, and FPMI Solutions Corporate staff.
Provides recruitment services as required at various geographic locations in Albania.
Accepts job applications received from applicants and reviews applications to ensure that they are complete and meet the qualification requirements established by the customer.
Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and Internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport with the community.
Travels to recruitment venues as needed. Collects resumes and applications, and conducts interviews. Administers computerized based tests. Ensures applications are properly completed and submits them, along with recommendations, to the FPMI Candidate Management Center (CMC).
Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements via a structured candidate interview and evaluating applicant qualifications against customer approved qualification standards.
Avoids legal challenges by understanding current legislation and labor law imposed by the government of Albania.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Must be able to travel to Albania for a period not to exceed 60 days
Native speaker with minimum of 5 years' experience in recruitment or related discipline highly desired. Near Native Speakers considered OR Certificate in Albanian language instruction or certification in translation and/or interpreting
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to pass a background investigation, including credit check
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, plus other MS Office Suite, SharePoint experience is a plus
Strong grammar, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to respond to customer inquiries (written and verbal) in English and Albanian
Availability to work weekends and U.S. Government holidays not observed in Albania
Availability to work non-standard work shift
PREFERABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Certification in translation or interpreting (Albanian)
Prior experience multi-tasking in fast-paced environment
Prior recruiting experience preferably in Albania or other European countries
Prior experience living and working in Albania for extended period of time. A general knowledge of cultural norms, hiring practices, and geographic area is highly preferred
