THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Merrimack Pharmaceuticals is a biopharmaceutical company discovering, developing and preparing to commercialize innovative medicines paired with companion diagnostics for the treatment of serious diseases, with an initial focus on cancer. Merrimack currently has six targeted therapeutic oncology candidates in clinical development.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment and work proactively with various teams across the organization.
Perform full-lifecycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checking, negotiating and extending offers.
Provide an infusion to the recruiting effort by sourcing and developing a pipeline of qualified candidates using the Internet, networking, direct sourcing, referrals and professional associations.
Partner with hiring managers to formulate the strategy to recruit top talent in a competitive environment and act as a key contact with respect to the recruiting process and HR issues.
Be an effective ambassador of the company by managing and coordinating all communication with candidates.
Lead strategic pre-interview meetings and post-interview debriefs.
Perform internal and external compensation analysis to ensure that offers are fair and competitive.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiations.
Minimum 5+ years? experience in biotech/pharma recruitment.
An expert level of knowledge in full-lifecycle recruitment including: Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated successes in networking and building pipelines, comprehensive behavioral interviewing and candidate assessment skills, strong negotiation and closing skills.
The ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Proven ability to prioritize work in an environment with competing demands.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment with a high sense of urgency.
Strong consultative skills.
Demonstrated ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities.
