You're an off-the-charts, amazing Recruiter who can help Quirky find, recruit and hire the best talent to join our team in our mission to make invention accessible. People naturally flock to you because of your amazingly positive attitude. You're an expert at understanding candidates' needs and motivations. You are a strong negotiator and refuse to lose any candidate. You are strategic and smart in your efforts to build successful teams.
As our Recruiter, you will:
Reach out to passive job seekers and get them interested in Quirky and our open roles.
Work the phones & your networks to get in touch with people who don't yet know they belong at Quirky.
Report directly to Jason Medley, Talent Acquisition Manager, and work with him to ensure we maintain Quirky's unique culture while growing quickly and continuing to hire only the best talent.
Source & recruit candidates to Quirky's openings on various teams
Conduct phone and in-person interviews
Help to draft and post new job requisitions
Manage relationships and candidate flow with outside recruiting agencies
Ensure a great candidate experience through all stages of the recruitment process
Work with Quirky's hiring managers to closely understand their needs and strategize with them to find candidates that will excel in each role
Coordinate candidate travel schedules when appropriate
Attend recruitment events, job fairs, meets ups, etc.
Make it your priority to ensure EVERY candidate has a seamless and positive experience while interviewing at Quirky
Be an excellent brand ambassador for Quirky: anyone that talks to you should be convinced they would rather work at Quirky than anywhere else
4+ years of work experience in a recruiter role at an agency or in-house
A mix of agency and in-house experience is preferred
Experience recruiting for creatives or consumer product engineers and designers preferred
Bachelor degree or a really cool drop out story
Proficiency with LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter
Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems
Stellar written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build strong trusted relationships with hiring managers
Action and detail oriented
Unrelenting intellectual curiosity and pride in doing awesome work
You are impatient with an entrepreneurial spirit
