We?ve got millions of people searching on Redfin?s website who want to connect with local, customer-service focused real estate agents to help them buy or sell a home. We?re growing like a weed in a swamp and our crack team of recruiters needs help marketing our business to prospective agents. That?s where you come in. We?re seeking an analytical, creative marketer to develop and run compelling marketing campaigns to drive more applicants to join our team.
Who You Are:
Great writer: your words will be the ones that drive clicks and inspire agents to apply for our programs. Your writing is crisp, lean, and powerful. You can spot typos a mile away and your final product is perfect.
Analytical: numbers are your friends. You use metrics to tell you how to improve your campaigns. You can bend Excel to your will. Experience with SQL is a bonus.
Resourceful: you know how to make things happen and have a ?can do? attitude. You find creative ways to execute new campaigns without a ton of resources.
Team Player: you collaborate well across multiple teams. You?ll be working closely with the marketing and design teams as well as real estate managers to develop new campaigns and drive quality applications.
Executor: 99% is half done. You know how to remove road blocks and drive for the goal line.
What You?ll Do:
Run email campaigns: the majority of our real estate agents come to us from our email marketing. You?ll pick up what we?ve started and quickly begin to develop your own campaigns.
Test, test and test some more: we?re still in the early stages of figuring out which subject lines, content, and incentives drive the best response. You?ll have the freedom to do a ton of testing to optimize all our campaigns.
Develop and execute reporting: you?ll be developing a weekly reporting template to keep all the teams updated on the campaign performance, what?s working and what?s not, then making changes based on the results.
Innovate in our agent marketing efforts: we?ve got lots of campaigns we?d like to try that extend beyond email. You?ll have the chance to work online and offline to build out new content and collateral to support our recruiting efforts across multiple channels.
Experience: at least two years of experience running marketing campaigns with a history of results. Experience with Strongmail is a plus.
Smarts: you?ve got a college degree, can communicate & write well.
Tech-chops: you pick up new software easily and learn new tool and processes fast.
Real estate or recruiting experience a plus.
