Can you remain calm and composed when all around you is a tempest? Here at onefinestay we?re growing so fast that CVs hit our inbox like sheet rain. And with more growth forecast, we need a HR superstar to join our NY team immediately.
We're a startup, and to keep our world spinning, you'll be taking on recruitment duties and supporting HR administration for the expanding US team. You?ll also need to be tirelessly energetic: we?ll be calling on you to wax lyrical about onefinestay to applicants, screen their CVs, coordinate interviews and answer a myriad of HR queries.
Of course, there?ll be reams of paperwork to keep on top of, between liaising with team managers, bedding in new starters and managing absences and holidays. But as the business grows, you?ll be perfectly placed to help shape our policies and procedures. It?s the eye of the storm, and that?s why you signed up.
Recruiting duties for the US: screening resumes, telephone-interviewing candidates, managing assessments, arranging interviews, offer process and reference procedure
Running HR induction meetings for new starters
Assisting the development of local benefit offerings and overall HR policies and procedures
Supporting HR administration: drafting confirmation letters for changes of employment, regularly updating systems and trackers, tracking HR data and managing employee files, ensuring accurate data is maintained
Assisting with ad-hoc HR projects

Experience of working in a hectic environment
You?ll be the first onefinestay voice prospective recruits hear, so you?ll need to be able to speak articulately and energetically
You?ll be a confident communicator on a variety of levels, speaking to your internal customers (your onefinestay co-workers) as well as various external contacts
Well organised ? ours is an ever-changing environment with a multitude of different activities to schedule and manage. These involve a variety of people, so you?ll need to stay on top of it.
Strong administrative and systems skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Proven self-starter who can take initiative and thrive in a startup environment
A can-do attitude
