Position Summary
An AE is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through the close of the sale. Develops and implements agreed upon plan which will meet both personal and company goals of expanding customer base;Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values.
Responsibilities
The incumbent work involves researching, writing and delivering a high volume of concise, complete and highly creative copy for communication-related materials that sells, educates or instructs internal and external audiences. Focus areas will include:
Must exhibit a thorough knowledge of eInstruction?s products and services as well as internal processes for all our products and services; Understandsand supports sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment for all customers.
Assists in educating the customer on eInstruction?s solutions and services in order to select the proper solution, or suggest refinements or additions to suggested solutions which may enhance customer outcomes or respond to newly defined customer needs.
Assists in growing assigned account base by establishing relationships and uncovering new opportunities,training needs and sharing information with the Re-seller Sales Representative assigned to the same territory.
Develops and increases sales revenue to meet and exceed assigned sales objectives.
Maintains 360? communication apprising the company of relevant activities in the field so that any staff member may in turn maintain proper support.
Assists resellers and sales consultants (partners) with product knowledge, account strategies and territory planning to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Sells consultatively and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers; Excels at making sales presentations for audiences throughout the education spectrum from teacher through Superintendent.
Works in conjunction with sales representatives in crafting customized solutions and strategies for assigned customers;Works with local sales agents as well as National and Strategic Partners to present proposed solutions to customers.
Travels up to 75% of the time or more as required to meet position requirements.
Serves as a resource for new and existing partners so they may grow their businesses through sales of eInstruction products; Educates partners on marketing, training and other resources available to them within eInstruction.
Works closely with channel partners to plan and attend trade shows, sales exhibits and product demonstrations to groups of all sizes, maximizing eInstruction?s and thechannel partners? ROI for these activities.
Shares current information on new products and other general information of interest to channel partners; Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining and assisting partners in attaining new accounts; Researches trends and developments of primary industry(s) through the use of related publications, internet and training sessions to maintain and grow current knowledge base.
As needed, facilitatestroubleshooting of problems regarding products;Answers questions from partners and works with technical support staff to resolve any problems.
Periodically conducts formal and informal presentations utilizing MS Office applications and Company interactive products.
Maintains complete and timely documentation of account activities within corporate CRM solution (SFDC): records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, forecasts, closed sales, and follow-up activities
Provides prospect/customer with price quotations and insures there is a full understanding of the parameters regarding such products and programs.
Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans.
Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to customers.
Proactively establishes and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments.
Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education: BS/BA degree from accredited college or university, plus at least three years channel sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
