SilkRoad is seeking a Regional Account Manager to develop and manage new sales accounts within the SMB space in a specified territory to generate revenue for SilkRoad. This position is highly engaged in business development by converting prospective clients into customers and developing client and partner referrals.
Identifies and pursues prospective clients within the SMB space; uses leads generated internally, from client/partner referrals and from cold calling, to close sales and meet annual sales goals.
Resolves prospective client concerns throughout the sales process to promote a positive customer experience.
Establishes and maintains positive, effective new client relationships.
Documents prospecting activities and creates accurate sales forecasts.
Collaborates with subject matter experts and other resources throughout the sales process.
Delivers excellent customer service in support of the company?s goals and objectives.
Results driven professional with the ability to work well and deliver under pressure in a fast paced environment.

Supports a culture of customer appreciation and service excellence; delivers on-time, superior solutions that exceed customer expectations.

Strong sales prospecting and closing skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
Excellent customer relationship building and problem resolution abilities.
Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, Power Point and Excel.
Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing, Business or Computer Science or equivalent related experience, desired.
Minimum of three years successfully selling software, with at least one year of full-cycle selling.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quota and developing and managing a consistent sales pipeline.
Previous experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM is preferred.
