We are hiring a sales professional who excels in enterprise telecom/Hosted VoIP sales.
What YOU?LL do:
The Enterprise Regional Account Manager is a direct sales "Hunter" position responsible for bringing in new Enterprise Business customers in the region. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who couples sales skills with an understanding of Data Networking , Security and Managed Network Services and the ability to effectively present and sell MegaPath services to our prospective customers. The Regional Account Manager is provided support by a sales engineer, a lead generation rep and a project manager. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a networking sales role preferably with a Managed VPN Service Provider or related security or network services business.
Absolute "Musts" for Success:
1. This is MegaPath's top outside sales position. All eyes are on you. You must be at your best in all situations. You represent MegaPath in the best light as one of our best salespeople.
2. MegaPath must double revenue and increase profit to reach success. You must be a key piece of our success. As a key piece, you must hit quota. Therefore, you must hit the ground running. You must know the region, you must know the target customers and you must develop solid business relationships with targets.
3. You must be near a major airport.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Lead qualification, customer needs assessment, and closing of identified opportunities
Maintain a strong sales funnel with multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle each month
Prepare quotes and proposals and make presentations to customers
Establish and maintain a working knowledge of current and new products and services across the MegaPath product range, keep up to date with new features and releases
Work both directly with prospects and also in conjunction with partners on referred leads from the channel partner program to close sales
Accurately forecast opportunities and log activities on a daily basis in the sales funnel in Salesforce.com
Meet target activity levels for calls, meetings, quotes and new opportunities added to the sales funnel each month
Close sales at and above assigned quotas and goals
Desired Skills and Experience:
Proven, consistent, sales performance in the distributed enterprise data/telecom field
Effective Knowledge of telecommunications, data communications, networking, applications, internet industry, including competitive knowledge from an industry wide perspective
Highly effective cold calling, presentation and closing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a compelling and professional sales presence
Proven ability to work effectively and successful from a home office environment with minimum supervision
Proven track record of uncompromising ethics and integrity
BA / BS required. Business or related field preferred
7+ years of successful data/telecom sales experience
Highly successful track record in selling to distributed enterprise accounts and complex selling environments
