Vivax Medical Corporation is the leader in patient safety through the Soma CareTM Program and the use of the Soma TM Safe Enclosure. Working with acute care and rehabilitation facilities in the specified territory, the Regional Account Manager will be responsible to present, demonstrate and set up patient trials for clinical evaluation of the Soma CareTM Program. The goal for the Regional Account Manager is to sell nursing leadership and doctors that the Soma CareTM Program is a valuable and best option to reduce bed exit falls for most patients at risk. The Regional Account Manager will be responsible to, gain new business, renew existing contracts with acute care hospitals and/or rehab facilities within the assigned region. Vivax will be releasing a new product to the marketplace in 2014 which will create more opportunity and demand for our services. As a Regional Account Manager you will be responsible for growing market share and exceeding sales goals for Vivax Medical Corporation. You will use your outstanding interpersonal skills and strategic approach to establish and maintain relationships that result in customer satisfaction, retention, and acquisition by providing effective solutions to targeted accounts.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Execute sales process including prospecting, qualification, needs assessment, competitive differentiation, presentation, closing, and implementation.
Be able to identify effectively the needs of the customer and provide competitive differentiation and value definition to secure a successful customer solution.
Provide in-depth technical expertise regarding assigned product lines.
Assist customers in achieving defined business/technical and personal goals. These responsibilities will include pre & post analysis review.
Work cross functionally with internal colleagues and peers to share information and best practices while remaining actively involved in industry/customer organizations that impact business.
Interface with other members of the Regional Sales, Technical and Clinical teams to develop and execute customer strategies.
Work with the National Sales organization and Marketing to drive business.
Prepare proposals for all Vivax Medical opportunities in your region.
Utilize appropriate pricing strategies as established by internal resources.
Negotiate all contract proposals to support overall Vivax Medical business and profitability.
Oversee new order implementation process, conduct necessary territory/business analysis and planning.
Prepare reports, business plans, and expense reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
Communicate competitive and market information internally throughout the organization.
Reports directly to the National Sales Manager.
Territory: Indiana Region including Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. Seeking candidates located in Indianapolis, or within 50 miles radius from this location.
Territory: New York Region including New York, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania. Seeking candidates located in the Greater New York City area, or within 50 miles radius from this location.

Have a Bachelor?s degree in Business or Life Science related field.
Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Medical Device or capital equipment sales.
Have previous experience calling on hospitals..
Have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong business acumen, and a desire to conquer complex sales processes.
Have successful negotiation, strategic planning and organizational skills.
Are able to develop and capitalize on relationships with customers.
Have existing relationships with c-level or director level nursing management highly desired.
Are able and have the ability to travel a minimum of 40% overnight.
