We are looking for individuals with successful track records in exceeding their revenue goals through a
build, sell and manage approach. The successful candidates will have 5+ years of experience in the
selling of complex technology based products and services to enterprise, Telco, or managed service
provider accounts and will have an entrepreneurial approach to territory sales management which
perceives no limits on the amount of revenue and commission they can generate utilizing the corporate
tools at their disposal.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
? Consistently deliver license, support and service revenue targets ? commitment to the number
and to deadlines.
? Named Account penetration, account planning and territory-based opportunity management.
? Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises and partners
by selling value and ROI.
? Work with and through partners to build up large recurring revenue streams.
? Strong team player. Lead and utilize corporate resources including technical teams, finance and
management personnel to achieve your number. Work your territory as if it were your own
? Effectively use our internal sales process and systems to manage your accounts and provide
visibility into your business.
? Understand how to leverage both international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and
value to the customer.
? Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, including technical
support, product management and marketing.
? Five years minimum experience in technology sales of products or services, executive level
contacts in Telco and Managed Service organizations are a plus.? The individual must have a successful track record in meeting and exceeding quota while
employed in the direct sales capacity of an enterprise technology company.
? Experience selling Enterprise Security Solutions is a significant plus.
? College degree or relevant professional experience required
? Former military or Federal government experience is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1. Must exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and oral. Presentation skills from
both prepared text and ?chalk talks? are required.
2. A clear understanding of the security landscape is required. Previous experience in selling log
management or SIEM tools is a major plus
3. Must possess successful record of negotiating complex transactions. Skill set to include basic
legal and accounting knowledge.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). A strong working knowledge of
Excel is required with the ability to create and manage deals using this application.
5. Must have a proven background in maintaining schedules and meeting deadlines.
6. Ability to work within a team environment.
7. Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment.
8. Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team.
