REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER / SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS (JOB #298) Tripwire

This position is responsible for selling company products and services in the South Central Region.
Ideal candidateswill be based in St. Louis, Kansas City or Huston.
Achieve Revenue targets on a quarterly and annual basis
Maximize sales into assigned territory, working with Inside Sales Representative when appropriate.
Insure a high level of customer satisfaction
Forecast the business accurately
Work collaboratively with 3rd party partners to present compelling solutions to customer business issues
Develop strategic account plans on larger deals
Maintain the integrity of the CRM system
Be a trusted resource and counsel to HQs marketing and R & D providing important customer input
Proactively and aggressively prospect for new-name business in well defined financial vertical accounts
Act as mentor to Inside Sales Representative and work side-by-side pre-sales technical support
Target at least 8 face-to-face appointments a week with customers and prospects.
Travel is required
Account Executives do not have final authority to negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of agreements or purchase orders; all agreements are finally approved when negotiated and accepted by Tripwire, Inc. corporate offices in Portland, Oregon, USA.
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of attributes, education and experience:
College degree required. Masters in Business ideal.
10-15 years sales experience in the enterprise software industry emphasis Security and GRC.
Demonstrated success in account management and in managing client relationships effectively at the ?C?- level. IT Security Executives preferred.
Sustained and balanced track record of sales performance over quota
Able to develop and execute a strategic plan
Technically proficient with a strong curiosity in the high tech industry.
Excellent presentation/communication/influencing/negotiating skills, both written and verbal.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team oriented atmosphere.
Strong written/verbal communications skills.
Expertise with use of salesforce.com
Demonstrated experience within vertical industry major accounts and strategic account planning
Experience selling enterprise software in the Energy industry
