Jive Software?s new Regional Alliance Director will identify, recruit, and nurture Central Region Alliance partnerships for Jive. Our target Central Region partners have a committed and defined practice to drive social business initiatives across their enterprise clients. Jive?s new Regional Alliance Director will successfully establish new regional partner relationships and aggressively influence and secure new direct, referral, and cloud service revenues for Jive Software.
Territory: Central United States
The ideal person for this role will have a seasoned (8+ years) history of success cultivating strategic partnership and driving go-to-market strategies with: Management Consulting Firms, Systems Integrators, Web 2.0 Strategic Consulting Firms and Digital Marketing Agencies located in the Central United States
Work with Jive?s Alliance team, Regional Sales VPs, Territory Field Sales Reps, Sales Engineering and Marketing teams to identify, develop cultivate new Central region partners
Build a strategic plan for initiating new conversations, sell the partner on the value of a mutually beneficial business relationship with Jive, define the structure, go- to- market strategy and terms of the partner agreement, then secure the partnership contract
Work closely with our Central region partners to create and define custom tailored value propositions and go-to-market plans that strengthen our value proposition to the marketplace while providing new license revenue opportunities for both Jive and our partners.
Serve as the Alliances advocate across Jive?s Central US sales teams
Evangelize social for business to our partners and their customers
Internally evangelize the power of working with Alliance partners and increase partner driven sales efforts with Jive?s Corporate, Field and Strategic Account sales teams.
Work with partners? sales teams to ensure that Jive is ?front and center? and always included in their social business software sales opportunities
BA/BS degree required
MBA or Masters Degree from a top university a plus
8+ years relevant experience building and managing western region alliances for enterprise software companies
Strong experience working with global SI?s such as Price Waterhouse Coopers and Accenture
Deep exposure and domain expertise in enterprise B2B software and cloud solutions; social software expertise a HUGE plus
Demonstrated ability to influence senior partner executives to invest their staff?s time and efforts to build a committed GTM partnership with Jive
Proven ability to work with sales teams to meet quarterly sales goals
Manage, drive and close joint partner deals to meet and exceed aggressive weekly, monthly and quarterly quotas.
Understand the critical finesse required to deploy Jive resources carefully based on the size and scope of the new partnership and joint revenue potential.
