POSITION: Regional Consultant (financial services) ? Southeast, South Central, and Texas
LOCATION: Boston, Chicago, Denver, or NY
This role will include both external and internal territory management responsibilities. The individual will be responsible for new business development in a designated area focusing on RIAs and identifying potential Independent Advisor Networks. The job also requires the ongoing servicing of existing clients and will require a person that can collaborate with the many service areas within Envestnet. The job will require at least one week of travel per month. The candidate should be an excellent at building relationships and presenting complex solutions to prospective clients.
Proactively target new RIAs regarding implementing the Envestnet platform as an alternative to their existing back office
Conduct detailed demonstrations of the platform based on the prospective clients needs
Follow-up with advisors who have recently attended conferences, road shows or sales meetings
Help in preparing for client sales, conferences, and regional meetings
Develop sales ideas and build sales presentations that complement specific advisors business needs or profiles
Travel when necessary to conduct field meetings and attend conferences
Bachelor?s degree 3-5 years of experience; prior experience in inside wholesaling, dealer sales, or brokerage necessary
Series 6 and 63 required
Knowledge of PMC and interests in our AUM capabilities are a must
Proven expertise of the investment advisory business and related topics
Positive problem solver with can-do attitude
Excellent communication and telephone service skills
Action oriented, self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and drive
Ability to cultivate and enhance new and existing business through phone calls and e-mail
Goal oriented, focused on individual and team sales success
Ability to understand and articulate the benefits of separately managed accounts
