THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED DescriptionEstablishes sales goals and manages budget, staffing and pricing of products/services for all commercial sales. Lends leadership, experience and tactical/strategic support to the sales activities of the Company.
?BS/BA in Business or equivalent, MBA preferred.
?5-8 years in professional sales and marketing management position.
?Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze market trends and to develop products and services in a timely manner.
?Demonstrated ability to hire, train and manage sales personnel.
?Demonstrated understanding of and ability to effectively utilize sales management software.
?Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills.
?Computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing.
?Exceptional verbal, written and aural communication skills.
?Requires constant speaking, hearing and feeling, frequent sitting and keyboarding, and infrequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, walking on uneven surfaces, squeezing, operating foot controls, crouching, standing and walking.
?Requires infrequent lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of 1-10 pounds.
?Close detail work requiring visual and color acuity.
?Must be able to perform primarily sedentary work.
?Based on market research and experience, develops prices for and services and establishes goals for sales staff.
?Monitors sales achievements and interacts with sales and management staffs to guide and direct sales and/or marketing efforts.
?Trains, coaches and mentors sales staff on effective sales and marketing techniques, processes and methods to increase skills and efficiency.
?Manages and directs sales staff.
?Analyzes market trends and customer demands. Based on analysis, develops products and services, including product marketing and pricing strategies, to respond to market changes.
?Maintains sales tracking and management systems to forecast required resources and to meet revenue goals.
?Personally manages critical sales prospects and accounts.
?Applies knowledge of interrelated procedures to effectively guide, lead and direct sales and marketing efforts.
?Applies principles to solve practical everyday problems and deal with a variety of specific variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
?Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic or schedule form.
