The Regional Operations Manager is responsible and accountable for the success and execution of the Master Services Agreement and Site Operating Agreement between Storeroom Solutions, Inc. and a multi-site pharmaceutical client facility. The Regional Operations Manager supervises, guides and develops a team of Site Managers & Buyers assigned to various sites, including both on-site and virtual management ensure optimum performance of all sites within their assigned region.
Follow and enforce all site Safety and Security Procedures while documenting and reporting as required; ensure all staff receive initial and ongoing required safety training; file any safety incidents according to safety SOPs. Ensure compliance with ISO requirements.
Serve as the key SSI Representative in managing daily operations within the account or accounts. Ensures and monitors integrity of the site service level program.
Effectively communicates with all levels of the client?s organization and able to present monthly performance results to the client?s key program sponsors, including Service Level performance, Savings, Scorecards, and other KPI?s
Directly responsible and accountable for all data reported upon affecting the Operations Report, Dashboard, and Client Report Card. This responsibility may not be delegated.
Monitor, supervise and provide ongoing feedback and training to Site personnel in all aspects of their positions. Responsible for developing unity, morale and welfare at all levels of subordinate positions and working towards their professional development.
Assists in the development of annual Business Plans for area of responsibility including periodic updates related to revenue/EBITDA projections
Responsible for monitoring job reports for assigned locations and playing a key role in meeting revenue and profit objectives. Monitor site dashboards for trends. All sites more than three months old should strive for all green indicators.
Able to effectively manage multiple projects and action items to ensure on-time resolution to key deliverables
Helps coordinate new implementations internally / externally, and works against timeline and builds in room to meet or exceed deliverable dates
Responsible for maintaining the security and integrity of site data. Develop a process to audit the integrity of purchasing detail at all sites; specifically, questionable changes to standard cost and purchase price index information.
Develop and implement a Purchasing Ethics program. This should be considered annual training for any subordinate engaged in purchasing at the site level. Responsible for coordination of purchasing efforts at each plant
Develop and improve current management reporting; build the correct process flows, streamline procedures and providing data enhancements. Examples of programs include: Order Ship Time, Repair Cycle Time, Obsolete Inventory Liquidation, and Critical Spares Programs.
Working with client, develop Min/Max review document for all stock items as the inventory foundation. Identify parts duplication and perform separate review for each plant with the goal towards lowering client inventory levels thru reduction of redundancy.
Monitor labor reporting, accounts receivable reports and invoice discrepancy reports (IDRs) to ensure prompt payment of invoicing to client.
If applicable, a thorough knowledge and understanding of any collective bargaining agreements in place at their facilities a
? 10+ years experienced in building relationships, leading and working in Supply Chain, Procurement or similarly industry
? Five to seven year?s supervisory and managing direct reports.
? Excellent interpersonal skills, writing ability, and presentation and verbal skills, with prior experience presenting in group settings and to senior management.
? Experience and familiarity with inventory control, receiving, and shipping processes
? Experience in financial reporting, budgeting and/or overseeing multiple P&L statements
GmP Training and Experience
Previous work experience in a regulated industry; phamaceutical industry experience a plus
Experience using Maximo is a plus
Four-year college degree and MBA is preferred; 20+ years? experience in lieu of a degree is required.
Thorough knowledge of purchasing and inventory management including experience using ERP systems and working with interfaces.
Strong data analysis and problem solving skills.
Computer proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong skills in Excel / PowerPoint; ability to learn and work with MS Project.
ISM or CPM certification or ability to acquire certification.
