Position Summary
The Regional Sales Director will lead a specialty care team for their region in promoting and selling healthcare products to specialty physicians. The Regional Sales Director will coach the Regional Account Manager in the development and delivery of the sales strategy and be responsible for ensuring strategic execution and associated metrics. They will serve as a key information holder regarding the marketplace and thus, be able to react appropriately to that market as needed.
Requirements
? 4 year degree required
? 3+ years experience and a proven track record as a District or Regional Sales Manager in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology market
? 3+ years of buy and bill experience with injectable medications required
? Successful history of sales and sales achievements
? Prior experience as a Regional Sales Director preferable
? Demonstrated ability to recruit, hire and coach Direct Reports to success
? Proven ability to display district/region leadership, performance management & career planning
? Strong work ethic and customer focus orientation
